Passion. Purpose. Impact. CJP is one of Boston's oldest and most respected philanthropic organizations and we are currently seeking a Development Associate.

The Development Associate will perform dedicated administrative duties, database management, and special projects support for the Philanthropic Connections team, with an emphasis on the work being done in Women’s Philanthropy. This role will serve as logistical programmatic and event support along with database maintenance, and project management as needed.

The Associate will have the opportunity to work with a strong team, dedicated to providing exceptional service to CJP’s volunteer leadership and donors.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate logistical aspects of Women’s Philanthropy programming/events including scheduling, ordering food, virtual logistics, and tracking attendees. In partnership with teams, facilitate timely and clear communication with speakers and attendees and coordinate materials and A/V needs. Coordinate with marketing and DSI to create invitations.
• Serve as liaison to CJP staff regarding all WP programming: maintain and share program calendars; provide timely responses to any questions; and circulate materials ahead of meetings with internal stakeholders.
• Serve as a database power user.
• Interact with CJP volunteer leaders and internal staff in a prompt, courteous and accurate manner. Serve as first line of communication for inquiries from donors, community members, and outside agencies when listed as contact for programming or strategy areas for WP – appropriately direct calls and emails.

Education: Higher education degree or administrative/business training preferred

Budgeted Salary Range: $48,800 - $57,400
